Gather Series by Wildly Us

Gather Series by Wildly Us

The heart + purpose behind this gathering is to celebrate the mother’s, the mentors, the women you feel called to honour. The event is a floral workshop setting complete with wine + cheese, curated by Jess of Cooking in my Genes. Each guest will have the opportunity to create their own unique + beautiful floral arrangement (to take home and love, or bless someone with), enjoy wine + cheese and have time to connect. It’s about holding beautiful space and energy by women to celebrate women. It’s all happening Thursday May 9,2019 @ 7pm. We will be gathering @ nvrlnd Boutique to create floral arrangements, and enjoy connection, wine + cheese. To attend: you can purchase tickets here

Pursuit

Pursuit

As I type this I’m sitting on the floor in my living room, a candle lit, palo santo burning, and the sun hot on my back. My intention was to go to the cafe this morning and write. To be around the energy of those stopping, meeting, connecting, rushing. But, when the sun is streaming through the front window, and you can see the sunbeams, you sit and stay in it.

Wildly the Workshop

Wildly the Workshop

My blog has become the news bulletin for my life.  Somewhere along the way I realized that I'm not a blogger.  I'm too private, and find it difficult to be documenting and sharing all the quiet, meaningful, close, epic, fun, fulfilling stuff of life.  I watched an interview with Oprah today where she said that from the time she was 32 she knew how to be herself on tv and was from that point on just herself.  I know how to be myself in my everyday real life.  I know how to be myself in friendships, human engagement and interaction, the highs the lows.  I have a pretty intimate awareness of myself offline, and actually I feel pretty confident being that human. Online...I struggle.  I don't know how it all translates sometimes.  So, instead of faking this until I figure it out, I'll share the pieces of life that feel like they're meant to be shared.

Creativity Overflow

Creativity Overflow

There have been quite a few moments over the last several weeks where I've had to step back and take in how lucky I feel right now.  I have so many different creative projects on the go and it's felt really fulfilling for me. Florals x Wildly Us

Florals x Wildly Us

I'm really excited to share this project with you all!  At the beginning of this year I decided that I wanted to work with my hands creatively.  Flowers felt like the most natural fit.  Growing up I would cut bunches of purple lilacs from our backyard and arrange them strategically around my bedroom.  Flowers are always at the centre of our table when we entertain (which is quite often).  In the last few years I've started growing flowers in our garden with dreams of having a cut flower garden one day.  And through the winter theres nothing quite like a beautiful bouquet to give life to home when everything outside is freezing and covered in snow.  I love the idea of flowers being at the heart of gatherings, a part of celebration, and a loving + thoughtful way to let someone know you're thinking of them.
