Cheers // Christmas + 2017

I know I'm not the only one to feel like Christmas/December has flown by this year.  It's been a busy, cold, and at times exhausting month but we've made it!  I LOVE this season, but have always felt like the build up is the best part.  Most years by the time December 25th arrives I feel so disappointed to have to consider putting away the ornaments and records until next year.  This year feels different.  I think it has to do with looking ahead.  2016 was quite a year.  It was full of the most wonderful moments and yet, was raw, and scary, and unpredictable.  There were a lot of growing pains, and course altering decisions but it all felt a little too overwhelming to simply be in and enjoy.  This year was plain old different than any other.  Which was great in so many ways.  But I have this sense of being ready to leave it.  Ready for 2017.  I have a feeling about 2017.  I don't think I'm the only one.  Most friends I have talked to about this feel much the same sentiment towards both this year and next.  It feels reassuring to be entering a new year with collective hope, and the beautiful sense of possibility.  And in looking forward to leaving this year behind I wanted to say thank you.  Thank you to everyone who has visited my blog this year.  Thank you to everyone who has championed for me both behind the scenes and in the arena.  It has truly allowed me to set the stage for all the big, exciting things to come in the New Year.  I feel blessed, have connected with some of the most talented, beautiful, and authentic humans through this platform and can't help but feel like that will only continue to manifest in the coming year.  I hope that you feel blessed beyond reason this Christmas, and feel that sense of collective hope in entering 2017.  If there's anything I've learned this year it's that being OPEN seems to be the most effective way to receive the love, joy, life, creativity, understanding, relationship, possibility, dreams, fulfillment, and blessing.  2016 had a way of stripping away those rough/jagged edges to teach/show me that openness.  It's brought nothing but good. Know that you're not alone in experiencing the refining that Christmas can prompt.  And trust that through it, and leaving this year behind the opportunity for being broken open can be the most life giving thing you may experience.  Merry Christmas.  Here's to 2017 being everything you hope and so much more that you can fathom.

I'm going to be taking the next week to be present and to plan/map/dream for the New Year. I'll be back here January. 3, 2017 with new and exciting things to share! In the meantime check out my YouTube channel! I'm hoping to Vlog over there during the holidays.
