The other night James took a photo that inspired the idea of including some less formal more "glimpse into our everyday life" kind of posts. In the midst of a busy summer we have found ourselves craving quiet evenings and weekends home. There's nothing that recharges me quite like being at home, just the three of us. Last weekend for instance, we barely moved from the backyard. We set ourselves up outside with Netflix, snacks and drinks and proceeded to enjoy every single second of it. We are currently counting down the days to our vacation this week (3 sleeps!). My in-laws have graciously agreed to come puppy sit for us while we are away. I'm so excited for this trip. We are both really enjoying and learning to take photos that we are proud to display on the blog and want to fill our walls at home with. I've never been the kind of person who remembers or is inclined to pull out my phone (or camera for that matter) to take photos. I like being in the moment and not worrying about interrupting it for a photo. With our camera and my blog my attitude towards photos has changed and is slowly just becoming a way of how was do life instead of an interruption. All that to say a beautiful, sunny, beach vacation that will include farms, orchards, and vineyards is going to be very well documented and I'm really excited about that! (Be sure to follow along on Instagram and Snapchat!) I've gotten a bit of clarity and direction recently as far as where I want to focus my energy into my blog and on social media. You will be seeing more of the three of us and more glimpses into our life. Here are some photos of everyday life we've taken lately..
